Stayed here for a night, rooms are basic and quite small, but I guess that's what your paying for. is a good 15 min walk to the nearest village, scone, but there is a bus that runs every hour or so.

Wonderful budget hotel, well worth the little extra distance from Perth. Continental breakfast adequate for all needs.

We stayed here recently while attending a function nearby. The hotel is a strange collection of what appears to be converted military barracks with multiple blocks, but don't be put off by initial impression. as other reviews say cheap ,clean and basic but when we stayed very noisy departures by other guests early in morning was very inconsiderate

Had an excellent time at the Skylodge. Clean, comfortable and friendly. We all need more like this. Will definitely be back.

Okay, so it's in a bit of a weird setting, a combination of ex-RAF buildings that now house various businesses, a tiny airport, and some residential properties - but don't let that put you off. The rooms are big and clean, travel-lodge or Premier Inn comparable, and the location is great for getting around, without being stuck in the town.... More
