bTir Aluinn....What an excellent b/B. Both Kathy and Dave were very helpful nothing was too much trouble to them. The rooms were very clean and bright. Views over the countryside were just lovely. The breakfast kept us going all day!!!!!! delicious and always served with a smile. I know I will recommend Tir Aluinn to anyone visiting that area.

We stayed at Tir Aluinn in the beginning of April and really enjoyed our stay. Kathy greeted us with hot tea and cookies and made us feel right at home. She was helpful, our room was good size and the mattress was comfortable. She suggested several places for dinner and we ended up eating at the Moulin Inn, a very... More

After checking out a few places before agreeing where to stay, this place was the best by far. Such a nice welcome and very well kept. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend! :)

Kathy & Dave were very welcoming, always willing to go that extra mile! Room was very comfortable & more importantly very clean. Kathy was full of knowledge about the local area which is great for people who don't know the area. Breakfast was BIG ( plenty to chose from ) very nice! Arrangements already made to come back! :) 10/10

We have stayed here at Kathy and Dave's Guest House several times and always enjoy the whole experience. A warm welcome, delicious breakfasts, comfortable room and the perfect place to stay. Walking, hiking, sightseeing, shopping and the theatre are all nearby. Local pubs and stunning scenery all make the journey so worthwhile. We shall be there again at the end... More

We loved staying at Tir Aluinn for a few nights in August. We spent our days out hiking or on long cycle rides so it was great to come back to the b&B for a good night's sleep at the end of the day. Beds were comfy and rooms warm and very clean. Breakfasts were very good and Kathy's porridge... More

Wow, what a great choice we made!! We stayed with Dave and Kathy in mid November for two nights. Our party consisted of three couples, including my mother and father. We were all immediately made to feel at home by Dave's warm welcome and tour of the house. After hiking to Edruadour and grabbing some dinner in Moulin, we came... More

We stayed at Tir Aluinn for one night, in order to attend the musical version of Whisky Galore at the Festival Theatre. What a treasure of a guest house, with very friendly and helpful hosts, Kathy and Dave. We arrived later than planned, as we had missed a train connection in Glasgow, and Kathy came out to greet us when... More

The Tir Aluninn is a lovely B&B and I would highly recommend it. I stayed here for 2 nights and the owner couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. I was feeling ill while I was here and had the start of the flu and the owner kept saying that I was welcome to go and get food and bring... More

Got a lovely welcome from the owners when I visited with my two children (aged 6 & 8). A beautiful view over the valley from our bedroom window and a great breakfast. Rooms were spacious, clean and well priced. Would go there again, very relaxing enviroment for a night away from home.
