After a 5hour stag and deer spotting trip at Atholl Estate We checked in and passed out for 2and a half hours in the fluffiest, comfiest bed! The room was quirky and very clean. We had dual view windows of the main street and the carpark. Freeview tv as standard -which was good. And the shower was excellent. Breakfast next... More

we stayed here for one night and were pleasantly surprised having not expected much due to it being a "last resort" booking as everywhere else seemed to be booked for the Enchanted Forest. However, the rooms turned out to be spotlessly clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the restuarant was fine- you are asked to give a time between... More

This guest house is in a good location as it is on the Main street and only couple minutes from train station. McKays pub is next door but we didn't hear any noise and our room faced the front. Rooms are clean and a good size. They are as shown on pictures. Breakfast was great, good choice of hot options... More

This is a quaint B&B at the end of the main street in Pitlochry above a fish and chip shop. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the decor was a bit traditional for my taste, with the same pattern on the wall paper, curtains and chairs. Nice enough for a night or two in Pitlochry.

The MacDonald's Guest House is centrally located in Pitlochry and we enjoyed walking on the shopping street and checking out the very nice shops. This hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was on the top floor and was en suite and included a kettle and preparations for tea and coffee; which we enjoyed after dinner. I believe the owner... Spotted this place as we were driving past advertising £30pppn, great value for money. Staff were helpful and rooms were very comfortable. Amazing wallpaper/curtain/tablecloth combo, definitely worth checking it out!

I went to Mac Donald guest house in February and had a beautiful time. The rooms are lovely, the guest house is very well located with restaurants and little shops around it. Pitlochry village is just beautiful! The only thing that really ruined my trip was the rudness of the breakfast staff. Apart from that , I rated 5 STARS!

We have just come back from our 2 night stay at Macdonalds and have to say that we cannot fault it at all. Although the decor was busy, the rooms were very clean and spacious and had tea/coffee making facilities, tv and en-suite bathroom with power shower. The breakfast was fab, there was plenty to choose from and the portions... More
