Charming place, excellent rooms - all with different character, superb service and a wonderful setting on the threshold to the higlands. Henrietta Fergusson is a perfect host, and the team headed by Mark Easton in the kitchen makes this hotel a place you really want to come back to. Again and again.

We were bought a token for this hotel as a wedding present and we did think it may be slightly stuffy. We were so wrong. The host was charming, helpful. Our room was just gorgeous - clean, with a lovely view over the garden and lovely and big. Dinner was absolutely delicious, excellent excellent food and a great wine list....
