I stayed with my husband at The Richmond on a weekend break and can honestly recommend this B&B hotel for the owners' hospitality and the location. You can walk to the beach and into town in just a few minutes. The accommodation also suited us wery well; it is spotlessly clean and our ensuite bedroom had all the facilties we... More

We stayed at the Richmond Guest House from `7.08.2011 to 20.08.2011. During our sojourn, We have been fortunate enough to have been accorded with welcome which in turn had made our stay cosy and comfortable. When we arrived it was quite late and we were exhausted to the point we were going to dash straight to bed. Helen welcomed us... More

We toured in Scotland, staying in the Richmond on our first and final nights. It was by far the best one in which we stayed. The room was large and beautifully furnished and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The whole ambience of the house is relaxing and the owners could not have been more helpful.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit here at The Richmond. Helen and Muir were very hospitable and accommodating owners, nothing was too much trouble for them. We felt welcome and comfortable straight away. Our room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice. The beach and town are only a few minutes walk away.... Well what can I say! This is a real home from home. The owners, Helen and Muir, made us welcome from the word go. The rooms were immaculate and spotlessly clean. The breakfast selection was vast but if you have a specific requirement Helen goes out her way to get it for you. The cooked breakfast was delicious. I even... More

I stayed four days at the Richmond and Helen was very friendly and I did not even know they had a dog. Breakfast was good and the rooms spacious, clean and yes I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at this lovely, friendly welcoming b&b for 7 nights with my sister.  The week was busy due to a local bowling event and the b&b was fully booked.  Everything was perfect and always to an exceptionally high standard, the rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed, the breakfasts fresh and delicious. The owners Helen and Muir are fantastic and... More
