Under new management for a year now and the hotel and restaurant have been transformed and are maintaining the highest standards. Make sure a table at the restaurant is booked or there is likely to be disappointment.

Had yet another fantastic meal at Hotel Kylestrome last night. Food was brilliant (as always) staff very friendly and welcoming. Our whole party thoroughly enjoyed the night and will be arranging to get back as soon as possible.

Had Sunday lunch here with my husband and a friend and all three meals were delicious - 24-hour braised steak and fish were excellent. Service was equally good: friendly and efficient. So we have tried just about everywhere in Ayr for food and were looking for a change. 8 of us 4 adults and 4 teenagers arrived for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. Tempura was great and the fish mains were well cooked. In all great value, good sizes and chips were magic. Will be back
