Having read the reviews we did not know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. From the moment we opened the front door the staff were friendly and very helpful. We booked the Craigmore as we were going to a wedding in the Black Bull hotel,Gartmore. There wasn't any taxis available despite the efforts of the staff to book one... More

We were at a party in the village and yes this was close. But it is certainly not what the website suggests. Most of the rooms are in the annexe at the back. Very clean, but it seems like they have followed a b&b manual .... Plastic cups wrapped in plastic, soap (who uses soap these days?!) It is clinical,... More

What a disappointment - doesn't live up to the locally hosted website hype. We stayed at a quiet time of year and several rooms were left open. Three bathrooms have mouldy ceilings and the general decoration is very poor. Staff very supportive and helpful. Doesn't represent value for money; doesn't present the quailty it pretends to. Great location. A great... More

I thought this place was great. Was a bit worried as I saw the previous reviews but had to book it because it was one of the few places available... I found the staff friendly, chatty and accommodating. I thought the room was big, and it wasn't basic at all. It even had a little dressing table and mirror. The... More

We stayed one night in July only because it was the only B&B in town with rooms available. That should have been an appropriate warning. Cheap linens, barely adequate cleanliness, Wifi with a range of about 5 feet from the router. This is not a 60 pounds per night romantic B&B by any stretch. They seemed not particularly interested when... More

The room was reasonably clean, though basic. Food excellent, host friendly and welcoming. Lovely area for cycling, walking or site seeing. Forest drives near by also sailing on lochs.

Part of our golf group (6 people) stayed at Craigmore - Glynice and Jim were most hospitable and helpful. Convenient to many things in St. Andrews. Recommend that you consider staying at Craigmore when in St. Andrews - treated our group like family. Dick Sargent Greenville, SC USA

We stayed at this place for one night (a Sat night) as we were meeting family in the area for a reunion party. The guesthouse website advertises a 'luxury 10 room B&B' with a lovely picture of the front of the house on the website homepage. It however became apparent as soon as we were shown to our room that... More
