We visited Mull on 20th April 2012 and ate at the Craignure Inn with friends. It was very welcoming and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. As are the locals!!! We chose from the bar menu as my husband fancied the fish stew and was'nt dissapointed!! All our meals were of a high standard, plentiful and reasonably... More

We found this old inn very quaint and tiny and well positioned for the ferries. We had booked their largest bedroom (of 3) that was comfortable and clean and had a good ensuite. Our dinner was fine although the bar selection was limited. Eating in the family area proved uncomfortable as there was no padding on the chairs and main... More

I visited here on Thursday 26 April 2012 with my partner and daughter. We stopped by for some food after a very disapointing visit to Tobermory Fish and chip van and also the chocolate shop. Anyway we went in to the bar and first impressions were, it was a very nice welcoming bar with the fire on. We were told... More

Dear John, I'm sorry to hear about your disappointing visit to the Inn. First of all let me explain that we wouldn't mind having children in the public bar but under the Scotland 2005 Licensing Act the Argyll and Bute licensing board does not allow us to have under 18 year olds in the public bar. One of the main... More

Visited Isle of Mull and stayed here for three days in early April. It is an ideal base next to the ferry and in between Tobermory and Fionnphort for Iona. Really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. We stayed in Room 1 which looked out onto the water and mainland. The room was nice, large and very cosy. Excellent choice... More

Thank you very much for your review and feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us and I have passed on your comments to our staff who very much appreciate it. My sincerest apologies for the roof work as we weren't aware that it was as noisy as it was for you. Luckily the work finished quickly. Many thanks... More

We stayed one night while travelling back from Iona en route to catch a ferry back to Oban. Had a front room which was spacious and comfortable. Dinner in the bar was good value and delicious as was breakfast the next morning. Free wifi worked in the bar. Staff were friendly and we felt very welcome in this little gem... More

We stayed here for three nights in a comfy, cosy room with great views of the water and the mountains. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, the bar food was great (wonderful cauliflower and cumin soup) and we had a first-rate meal in the restaurant one night with excellent cullen skink, hot-smoked salmon, a tender and tasty steak and a fish... We recently stayed here, and were overwhelmed by the service. We were greeted very warmly and the warmth extended throughout our short stay. Though very busy, the staff always made time to chat, and gave us a few local tips. We really enjoyed the food in both the restaurant and bar, as everything was fresh. Highly recommended!

Last night on Mull and we just wanted a nice meal to round off the holiday. We chose the restaurant at the Craignure Inn and had a wonderful meal at a reasonable price. My wife's steak was tender and tasty and my sea bass was very good indeed. The chocolate and amaretto mousse was delicious exactly as the waitress said... More

Dear Smudge08, Thank you very much for your comments and I'm glad you enjoyed your meal with us. We very much appreciate your comments and so does our staff as it's nice people find time and see effort to say nice things about us and not just bad ones. Our very first stay on the Isle of Mull and found this inn extremely friendly. We travel with 2 bull terriers and they were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was clean and comfortable and we did not find it noisy even at New Year. The food was excellent, we did not eat anywhere else. We were lucky enough... More
