I was looking to do a couple of hills in Glen More (South Mull) and the Craignure Inn was the ideal location for an overnight stay. When I checked in after a long but exceptional day on the hills with lots of sightings of White Tailed Sea Eagles, the staff were very helpful. When I went down for a meal,... More

This pub was suggested to us by a friend who had stayed a couple of years back. We were touring the West coast of Scotland and stayed here for one night whilst on Mull (we stayed for a further two nights in Tobermory). The Craignure Inn is a few minutes from the ferry. Some may not like the fact that... More

Nice staff although it was busy holiday time and only 2 staff working bar/ restaurant and one chef, the bar seemed confused and unsure what they were doing, there seemed to be a lot of confusion over things that should have been quite straight forward, and they were mixing up peoples bills etc. Food was great though and the craic... Great traditional pub, everything you want after a day exploring the Isle of Mull. Our dog was made to feel very welcome & for a friendly, large black ladbrador who likes to stretch out the owners were great about him stealing the floor space in front of the fire. The 'Belhaven Best' is kept perfectly, the choice of dishes on... More

had a pub lunch on a weekday after a walk with our 2 dogs. The dogs were made very welcome and the barman was friendly. Good location overlooking the sea 5 minute walk from ferry terminal. Standard pub food, no complaints there. Good value. Good beer selection. Lovely fire. Will return

It's a great pub. The bar is small and feels true to its heritage as a drovers inn. They keep great beer and all the food looks lovely. I tried the home made Cullen Skink which was delicious. There's lots of bar stools so we sat at the bar which had the effect that we were quickly engaged in conversation... More

Popped in here a few times during our stay in Craignure, always found a warm welcome and good service. It's in a handy location and has character and charm. The steak and ale pie is a delight, very beery. Would have scored top marks if it had come with proper chips!

The landlady mentioned otters could be spotted by the old harbour, but probably best at sun up. Aye right, so no chance then ;-) - except one was swimming about between the old harbour and ferry terminal which we watched 'til we were bored! Quality. Food was excellent as were the beer (Belhaven Black, understandably no hand pull in the... More
