We had a great time in this B&B. Very quiet and beautiful place. Jim and Christine were very polite and helpful. We were treated like friends. They spend time with us chatting and having fun. We absolutely can recommend this place to everyone.

To stay in this BnB is like visiting a family member! Jim and Christine are so polite and funny, we had a great time with them. If you want you can have dinner there aswell, which is cooked personally by the hosts. It was delicious! The rooms are very nice and the breakfast is excelltent (especially the porrige, Jim ;))... My wife and I spent a night at Rowan cottage in early June 2013. We did not have much time to get to know the place nor the owners (Jim and Christine ?) but loved the place and had some interesting conversation over breakfast. We felt very welcome. The room was very clean and confortable, with a view on the... More

Spent two nights at Rowan Cottage and must say its an absolutely fantastic B+B. Christine and Jim were really friendly and superb hosts, really chatty and full of local knowledge and stories. The food was second to none, especially the breakfasts with Jims famous porridge, followed by a full Scottish fry up! Very clean and comfortable bedroom, had a great... More

Just spent two nights here and can fully recommend the view, the twin room with a view, the dining room with a view and delicious food (super choice with Scottish flavour at breakfast and dinner). We really enjoyed an enchanting walk to Kilmarie and Dun Ringhill, suggested by Jim and Christine. Spring wild flowers, bluebells, orchids, primroses and many more,... More

We stayed with our two children and was made to feel very welcome. All three were very welcoming and I was even treated to a spot night fishing. The only thing that was a negative was the cost of the children's meals which was £8.00 each, if we would have know the cost I certainly wouldn't have ordered them. It... More

Of all the places I've been in Scotland (and been there 5 times - each time 15 different B&B) it was: The warmest welcoming. The merriest family environment. The most delicious food (do book for Dinner please..) The most dramatic scenery in Skye (Bella Jane Boat Trip to Loch Coruisk) Will never forget: that sweet dog, those birds during breakfast... More

You arrive like at home. a warm welcome from Christine and Jim. We brought our dog with us, he was welcomed as ourselves. Nice cooking and very interesting discussions, if you don't "fight" a laughing rugby with Jim. My only regret: that we didn't stay longer !!!

This lovely B&B is situated right at the end of a peninsula in a stunning location, very much off the beaten track but perfect if you're looking for quiet and seclusion and some of the most dramatic scenery that the Isle of Skye has to offer. We stayed in the twin room and found the accommodation to be spacious, clean... More
