like previous reviewer, wished i booked PI instead although a bit chilling with a banner about knife crime right next door! apparently only 3 rooms unoccupied when i was there, but still a shortage of pillows and there was no remote for TV. lack of facilities nearby, but i can not complain for £19, so 3 of 5 for me

One of the older hotels in the chain and the fittings and furniture in the rooms was a little dated. Having said that we had a family room in a convenient location for just over £20. There's a pub come restuarant on the opposite side of the road which we didn't use but looked as though it would be ok.... More

Paid just £12 a night to stay here - staff friendly and helpful and room large, clean, warm and comfortable. No on-site food but there's a pub across the road which serves breakfast and carvery evening meals.

This hotel was clean and comfortable, rooms are good size, a good location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We slept very well and did not hear any road noise, just a few trains passing which did not disturb our sleep at all. Excellent value, and we would definately stay here again.

This must be one of the worst places I have stayed in, situated behind a petrol station with a railway line to the rear and a main road to the front.
