Was in hotel on a hen weekend. The staff couldn't be more helpful so accommodating. The building is old but rooms very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious fresh and as much as you wished for. Very central for everything, within walking distance. Would def stay again for value, friendliness and location.

We just had the worst weekend ever in my life , The staff are so rude it is really unbelieveable, We were told we HAD to hand over an extra 20 each in case something happened in the room, What a joke when the room was smelly and shower did not work and our room was over a nightclub??, The... More

Went to stay at the Queens hotel this weekend for a night away with my partner and another couple who are friends of ours. Whilst the outside of the hotel does not scream modern chic, the inside of the hotel is clean and the staff are extremely friendly. A one night stay b&b worked out at 65e for the night... More

Had the misfortune of staying here recently on a business trip. The stale smell that greeted me on arrival at the reception should have made me run for the door to escape. but I gave the benefit of the doubt. My mistake. I had asked, on booking, for a quiet room as i had an early start the following day.... More

Myself and my boyfriend stayed in Queens for one night on the 1st of January 2012. We chose this hotel as it was listed as accepting one for all vouchers. On verifying this information with reception prior to booking, we were advised by phone and email that they did in fact accept these vouchers. We had read reviews that the... More

The Queens was located in a great area making it easy to explore. The staff were very friendly and room was quite reasonable. The only drawback was the night club opposite which went to the early hours, with mostly drunken patrons spoiling our sleep. The hotel itself was wonderful and very comfortable. The night club was not the hotels fault... More

First impression was good... The lady on reception was very polite & did warn us that there was a nightclub & it could be quite noisy at night. Room was nothing special but we just wanted somewhere to get a nights sleep on way to Kerry so we wern't fussy. Weather was awful so decided we would just have a... More
