Booked into the windsor inn, thankfully for one night only. the only good thing was the location. It smells and is dirty. Our room has yards of dirty old carpet, and acres of peeling paint. We did'nt have any modern gizmo like, toilet roll holder, towel rail, the shower was broken so had to hold the shower head while trying to shower.Easier said than done.... More

The girl who lets the rooms seemed to be clueless about a number of things: the price of the parking for which the hotel offers a discount; the type of breakfast served; the name of the wifi network. Mind you, I was lucky to find her for there's no sign anywhere about the location of the check-in. A fellow painting... More

This seems to be a great local on a main street and perhaps a good place for a drink as long as you stay away from coffee and you don`t mind having to listen to loud music- well, it is meant to be music. The staff on duty were indifferent, the place was quite busy with a great mix of... More

Plenty of negatives which rule this place out for families, people with heavy luggage, people looking for comfort and quiet. Run down building, slanted floors, windows which don't close properly. Street noise. No elevator. No remote for TV so could not use it. Bare furnishings. I did not take a shower (was just a quick visit to Cork city to... More

Carpet - disgusting, dirty, worst part covered with mat, shower door hanging off, shower unit was loose on the wall, poor water pressure in shower, no soap to wash your hands, no shower gel in a rusted, shabby chrome like container., towels consisted of one bath towel and one hand towel for two people. Windows were interesting, sash type, a... More
