Stayed here for a wedding in Lough Eske Castle. We arrived late and Grainne made us tea with delicious scones. The room was really big with ensuite and some of the best views I have ever seen. I would recommend this b&b for anyone visiting Donegal.

From the moment I spoke with Grainne on the phone, Rhu Gorse promised to be something special. Tucked away in a lovely spot over looking Lough Eske and the surrounding mountains Rhu Gorse has a wonderful location and is perfect as a base for touring the local area, or attending a wedding (as we did) in nearby Harvey’s Point. Although...

I'm glad you enjoyed your time here. The deer are getting noisier by the night and today I spotted a red squirrel down in the trees at the front of the house.!This is a fantastic time of year to spot wild life around here. Thank you for your kind review.

My wife and I stayed here after attending a wedding at Lough Eske Castle. We found it randomly at late notice on the internet and werent expecting too much at 35 euro each for the night. We were impressed from the onset as she offered us a cup of tea and home made lemon drizzle cake. She also had somewhere...

We stayed at the Rhu Gorse for two nights during our honeymoon and have nothing but great things to say- clean, comfortable, great food, great sleep, great views, and great hospitality. Donegal Town and County were the best part of our trip. The inn keeper gave us great suggestions for things to check out in the area. We were very...

Whilst I was working Grainne was so good to him giving him a lift into town and making him sandwiches. We really enjoyed our stay despite the fact that I was working. We had what was...
