we stayed at this B&B for two nights in May 2010. The location suited us as we were able to walk into the town. there were lovely views from our window. the breakfast was nice. the decor could do with updating but it was very reasonable and we would stay again.

Only a short walk to Donegal town, about 10 minutes, but plenty of taxi's. only stayed one night but very comfortable and very reasonable. lovely breakfast. If traditional music is what you like - check out the Reel Inn by the castle. also a good pub/restaurant opposite the castle

Just back from a lovely weekend at Island View House in Donegal. The guest house was very comfortable and the atmosphere friendly. It was very good value for money and only a short distance from the centre of Donegal town. My mother and I enjoyed it and will stay there again when in Donegal town. Thanks

we tried to find a b&b in donegal town on the day. went to see a few houses in the town and much disappointed by the quality, price and owners. find this b&b in a book, looked like its outside the town but you could easily walk to and from the town centre ,its near the craft village. much cheaper... My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at the Island View B&B- The room was nicely furnished and spacious and most of all clean. This four-room guesthouse just outside of Donegal Town is set above the road, and reached by a long sloping driveway. The weather while we visited didn't let us enjoy its advertised views.
