I stayed here for a week and found the guest house to be very affordable and better than most hotels I have stayed in. In terms of cleanliness and comfort its fantastic, the rooms are spotless, well heated and the staff are helpful and friendly. The location is great, you are a couple of minutes walk away from St. Stephens... More

Excellent location, only ten minutes walk from Grafton Street, five minutes walk from a few places to eat near Merrion Row, five minutes walk from stop 6 on the "Hop on Hop off" tourist Bus Tour loop (which is brilliant too, with an interesting and often funny commentary) so it has easy access to all the best places to visit.... This corner Georgian Home is centrally located, walking distance to all the sights. During the day it is busy and bustling outside however, we found it quiet at night. It is very reasonably priced. We stayed twice. First when we arrived in Dublin, it was an easy walk from the Airporter drop at Merrion Square, and then we came back... More

Ok, first of all, if you're expecting the Ritz instead of the Comfort Inn, read on. Second, if you have ANY issue with street noise, move to the country. Third, if you really can't climb stairs, forget it. Othewise, the Fitzwilliam is a comfortable, clean and basic room right off St. Stephen's square, but in an area populated more by... More

Pros: Close to the center of town, good value, very accomodating Cons: Our room in the front was above a noisy restaurant On March 30, we stayed for one night to sight see on the way to Belfast. Although it wasn't where Google Maps thought it was, it was easy to find. It was bright and cheery, and the staff... More

Location: great. Accomodations: comfortable, clean. Staff: very helpful, friendly. I highly recommend this lodging for a stay in Dublin. I stayed there in December and found it a very easy walk from Trinity College and many restaurants and shops. Big bonus: if you are there on the weekend, parking in front of the townhouse is free!

Pleasant enough place with friendly/helpful owner. Slightly noisy from traffic and a few late night revellers but would have no hesitation in staying here again particularly now that the excellent owner has agreed to instal a lift for the use of us unfit, old 'uns who struggle with the stairs in this lovely Georgian townhouse.

All in all, my family and I were very pleased with our stay in Fitzwilliam townhouse this weekend. In general, I found it difficult to find a family room in the city centre that would cater for four people. Not only was our family room here clean, cosy and quite big, but very reasonably priced too. The Fitzwilliam townhouse is... More

We had an wonderful stay at Fitzwilliam. We were there from Oct 4-6. It was chilly, windy and sometimes a bit drizzly, but our rooms were warm and cozy. The rooms were spotlessly clean with fresh linens each day. The bed was very comfy. The Fitzwilliam is within walking distance of just about everything. The price was a great value... More
