I have taken my 12-12 y.o. ESL students to Abigail's for the third year and wasn't disappointed at all. It's a hostel, so no frills accommodation, but clean, with good enough breakfast and very well located, walking distance to all main attractions. Besides the staff is really friendly and helpful in case you need anything.

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel very well located! Rooms are big and clean! Not a lot of noise! The problem was when i had to take a frozen shower a morning because everybody took a shower at the dame time! Breakfast standard.

This place was okay, but it was honestly just like any other hostel. Simple breakfast with bread, cereal, and eggs as a bonus :). Only thing I REALLY didn't like was how you have to push a doorbell in order to get out into the reception area and then to outside. They seriously took forever to answer after about 5... More

I went backpacking with my friend this past summer and Dublin was our 3rd stop. We randomly found this hostel online and decided to give it a try. It was a little hard to find because we couldn't see the sign at night and ended up walking past iit 5 times. It was centrally located and we didn't bother with... More

Everything is clean and breakfast is good. Staff is friendly, and you have everything a backpacker would need here.

We have just returned from a long weekend at Abigail's. The hostel is basic, yet clean, and in a great location - really close to bus/train links should you need them, and a two minute walk from the main Temple Bar area (but not at all noisy). The staff were always happy to help, both day and night, and provided... More

This was a great hostel to stay in. It is very centrally located, reasonably priced, clean, includes free breakfast, free wifi. It has a great atmosphere and great movie choices if you want to have a break from traveling around Dublin. The staff is very nice and helpful (I would occasionally go down to the desk just to talk to... More

Great hostel. Recommended by my sister. Stayed in a private room on two separate occasions. Both times great! Really good large common room, great breakfast for hostel standards. Staff always there and happy to answer all questions and directions. We had some hotels at the same price or just more that had nicer rooms overall, so price wise was a... More

I was at Abigails with my two daughters last May and I must admit this is probably (one of) the best hostel(s) in Dublin. Location couldn't be better, staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are big value for money (we had a private family room). I've been to several hostels in Dublin and this one really beats all the... More

I went to Abigails in the first week of September with three friends. We slept in a 8-persons-dormitory. The dormitory was really clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. We used the description we got when we booked how to get from the bus station to the hostel, it is very well explained. Breakfast is good, but don't expect... More
