With 2 friends (and also colleagues, we are PhD students) we reserved a private triple room. The room was small but tidy and also the toilet!
A bit noisy because of the street outside but with earplugs (given for free at the reception) we had no problems!

There are good rooms, but they are more expensive. I went in the cheapest one, the 18 pers. dorm.. it was orrible.... sticky, smelly!!! It also depends on which people sleeps around you, of course. Breakfast is good and included. Position is good too.
Not the best, but quite good. Would not stay there again as I found better in Dublin, but it wasn't bad for budget accommodation. However, all in all not bad and very friendly and helpful staff. Good for couples who want the hostel type room and price but privacy (double en-suite rooms).
Clean, friendly Hostel, would definitely go back. We paid ten pounds per night, which included breakfast, and was one of the nicest hostels I have stayed in.
