I stayed here for two nights in the largest mixed dorm room. I recommended it for it's location and price. It's right across the street from Trinity College. The staff was friendly and helpful (and crazy). The room was kind of grungy and the bathroom wasn't great. The stalls were tiny.

We chose this hostel because of the central location, and that is pretty much the only great thing about it... (5 minutes walk from Trinity College) - The staff gives zero attention to the people staying there; - The noise at night is pretty terrible (even though they have free earplugs - wich is nice - but they did not... This place had a great location! A few feet from a bus stop, about 1 minute from Trinity, and about 5 minutes from Temple Bar. The staff were extremely helpful & welcoming. The atmosphere is lively, especially for young adult travelers. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options and was offered for a longer period of time than... More

Arrived with 5 other girls on Saturday for St Patricks day weekend, stayed until tuesday. Rooms smallish but adequate with en-suite. fresh linen and towels only 1 euro to hire. Breakfast included, cereals, toast, bioled eggs, fruit, yoguart, orange juice and tea and coffee available all day and night... excellent. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. The... More

For under 12 dollars a night, I was very impressed! The staff were friendly and very helpful, the beds were comfortable, the comforters were warm, and they give you a great breakfast. I was really surprised because I was expecting it to just be a place to stay at night, and that was it, but they go far beyond that.... More

I went there with my boyfriend and a friend on 7th of December, 2012. The service was very good and the people at the desk were willing to help, gave really good tips on the city and had a good sense of humour. Although we stayed in a room with 8 beds, we were able to sleep well. We got... More

Rooms basic but clean. Although the hostel could do with a freshen up and lick of paint. Bedding really clean and warm. Stayed in twin ensuite - no noise from rest of hostel - road outside was a little noisy but it is in central spot. And window was ill fitting so little draughty however as duvet warm did not... More

Stayed in: room 33 twin ensuite. Mattresses: clean not one mark on them. Noise: none from inside at all during the night. road traffic noise outside. But hey youre in the middle of town! Reception: staff very approachable. The guy with the harmonica was so funny! They run free walking tours and pub crawls. Security: brilliant. No one comes in... More

I probably got what I deserved for booking an 18 bed room for a night. I sure paid the price. The room literally stunk so bad I almost threw up. It was really hot in there, so 18 people sweat and there was no air flow at all, so it was just stagnant and disgusting. The showers were two to... More
