Just had a four-night stay in this lovely boutique hotel, situated in a residential area just outside the city centre of Dublin. The place has a lot of charm: cosy rooms, lovely drawing room where you can read a book and have a tea, a nice garden and very welcoming and helpful owners. You have two complimentary bottles of water... More

Just back from a 3 night stay. The hotel is set in a lovely quiet leafy suburb. We found the staff extremely welcoming and they couldn't do enough for us. We have rarely experienced this standard of service before. We had a lovely deluxe room with a garden view, bed very comfortable and bathroom very clean. Wi-fi in the room.... More

What more can I say that hasn't been said already? A very friendly hotel with excellent staff. We lodged here with a 1 year old baby, and the cots provided were of a high standard. Many thanks for a very enjoyable stay.

The warm welcoming nature of this boutique hotel was a pleasant surprise which continued through out our whole stay which, initially for only 2 days, we extended and then returned. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast a delight. Within close proximity to transport if needed, a cheap taxi trip to the city if... More

This is the only place to stay for anyone requiring a quiet stylish Hotel . Situated in the Ballsbridge area of the city it is quiet and within a short walk of two Dart stations which frequently run into the city centre at a very reasonable cost. The hotel is quiet very clean and the friendly staff assist in every... More

We were in Dublin last weekend and we stayed at the Abardeen Lodge which we absolutely recommend! Just outside the city centre, in a lovely residential area, it is easily reachable by bus (n.3 from O' Connor street takes 20 min) or by Dart. Very clean rooms and rich breakfast. The staff is very friendly and will give you tips... More

This is the only hotel I'll stay in when we visit Dublin which is quite often. It has everything you need, as long as you are not a family with kids who want a pool or spa, and is really perfect for doing absolutely zero after whatever it is you do during the day. They don't have a TV in... More

My friend and I were in Ireland for a week. We stayed at the Aberdeen Lodge for the first 3 days of our trip. We were pretty jet lagged when we arrived (35 Euro cab ride from the airport) and were warmly welcomed, fed, and given access to our room (they had an early check in option that we selected).... Travelling with an 8 month old can be stressful but we were made to feel very relaxed as soon as we arrived. We were ushered into a delightful drawing room for refreshments - this was the 'check in' process! We were given a warm welcome and helpful local information from the hotel owner. His wife and young daughter were also... More

Great location, short walk to train station and small shopping centres with excellent restaurants in the embassy area of Dublin - quiet and well appointed. Lovely staff and very nice breakfast. The only downside was we had a very small room on the third floor - there is no lift and the stairs are quite steep.
