Had a great time at isaacs, stayed for 2 nights and is a perfect location right next to the bus stop for the airport shuttle and within walking distance of the city centre. The hostel itself is great value for money, clean and comfortable. The locker facilities are excellent and i definitely felt safe and secure as all rooms and... More

The main issue is drunk folks creating nuisance , during our stay two girls totally drunk actually crapped in one of the shower cubicle ...you can imagine the plight. the sauna is very primitive , the place is noisy coz there is always someone outside the window.the kitchen is crap. On the brighter side there all those small things promised... More

Stayed in a double room. Very small, but clean enough. Toilets and showers clean enough. The whole building was very hot though, and we got some funky bugs in the room with the window open! Probably worth the price paid.

Thanks for your review. You certainly came to Dublin at the warmest time of the year - it was our summer - it's raining now and we are all hoping that the couple of weeks of sun isn't all we're going to get for the rest of the year. Normally it's quite cold. More

Me and a friend stayed at Isaac's for 2 nights. We had an amazing time. It is in a good location close to bus stops and walking distance to shops/ bars (taxi on the way home from a night out). Not sure about noise levels during the night as we got home at about 5am both nights/ mornings and fell... More

Well located for the city centre and especially the bus station - my friend and I accidentally woke up for a coach that was leaving at 10am at 9.45 and still managed to make it! Large lockers available, big enough to fit a couple of suitcases in, clean showers and comfortable beds. I'll be going back on my next visit... More

Paid more than 40 euro for a dingy room with no bathroom,,and to top it all i was welcomed with a cold shower in the morning,,I appreciate the atmosphere but even at budget prices you need some basic amenities.(and I'm not an old lady yet)

So sorry you were disappointed - it sounds like you stayed in one of our private rooms at Isaacs during a bust period Dormitories tend to be great value from €10 including breakfast per night . At Jacobs inn our sister Hostel around the corner we do have a good number of en suite private rooms and this may be... More

We stayed here the entire week we were in Dublin, and it is one of the best hostels I've been in. It was very clean, the breakfast was ok and free wifi (so rare in Europe unbelievably). However the best part was the customer service! The staff at the counter is so open and friendly and always ready to help... More

I went from London to spend a miniholidays in Dublin and under my view, all was perfect. I slept in the second floor and I must tell that either rooms and toilet very cleaned and tidy. The kitchen, which is quite big, has loads of draws and departments to keep food and there are two big fridges for the cool... More

We stayed at this hostel over the weekend. It was a bit loud Friday and Saturday nights, and sound travelled pretty easily to the first floor where we were staying. But the noise was not overly obnoxious, and we were able easily to fall asleep. The basement was a really nice feature, with a few different rooms to sit in... More
