The Trinity Capital Hotel is rather over-the-top in a good way. Fantastic décor and very friendly staff. We had a lovely spacious room with tea and coffee making facilities and wifi worked well throught the hotel. Bacon at breakfast was a highpoint of our stay! Handy also for Pearse Street Station - just 30 minutes by train to the delightful... More

The decor in the hotel is a superb mixture of Arabian/Asian nights and Alice in Wonderland, which is really lovely. Very charming, and very unique. Enjoyed the hotel and the central location. Good service, friendly staff and OK breakfast! Since we normally prefer to stay in modern minimalistic hotels, we thought the room was a little bit on the dark... More

We really enjoyed our time in Dublin and managed to fit in a lot of sight seeing during our long week end break. Dublin is a friendly city and The Trinity Hotel is located in a very central position within walking distance of shopping in Grafton and O' Connell Street and right next to the University (Trinity) For the evening... We stayed for 5 nights in May in a standard double room. Overall the place is fine and decent value for what it is. We actually loved the decor down stairs and this was a contributing factor in deciding to stay here. The bar and restaurant are nice but never seem to have enough people in them to get the... More

My family and I rented a car to drive from places throughout Ireland. When we got to the hotel we had to park 2 blocks away in a lot that only have 15 spaces. We had to wait around 20 mins for someone to get out so that we could park. Hotel is nice but kind of funky inside. The... More

I will preface this by saying my husband and I turn the air conditioner on in our manhattan apartment in march when it gets stuffy at night and too loud to open the windows (which have no screens). so when our hotel room had ONE window that was already open and it was stuffy, we weren't thrilled. that being said,... Went there yesterday for lunch with friends. It's a nice place, food was nice. Very nice pint of guinness. But we found service to be a let down. We haven't seen much staff around. Duty manager walked past looking at our table with empty pint glasses number of times without checking on us or offering another drink. We couldn't get... More

The hotel was centrally located walking distance from everything! A very short walk to Trinity College, Temple Bar and Grafton Street. The hotel is quite "rich" looking from the front entry all the way to the room! The front desk was very friendly providing a map of the area and tips on the hop on hop off bus. They even... More

We chose to stay at the Trinity Capital on our recent visit to Dublin because of its location and proximity to places we wanted to visit. On the whole, it was a very good choice: It IS very conveniently located, easy to find, the staff both at the reception desk and in the bar and restaurant were excellent, the price... More

Dear Tripadvisor Member, Thank you for your recent review. I'm happy to read that you felt the hotel was a good choice overall. On the issue of the heating being on for a fixed period, this is unfortunately necessary, as our central heating does not control the heat in individual rooms. The hours that the heating is on would be... More

I had the misfortune to check into this hotel after staying at a more modern, better priced alternative. I found the hotel, overall, to be very tired and in need of a renovation. The room, in fact, looked like it had been designed in the 60s (no closet??), the air con didn't work, and the windows were not soundproofed (something... More
