This hotel was great for location, very central to everything. We stayed three nights mid may. I had asked in emails prior to booking for ground or first floor. Got third floor, a climb of 80 very narrow steep steps. the room was spacious as was the bathroom. However, cold showers every night. As the steps were too hard for... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. You have been advised on your booking request that the closest triple rooms to the ground floor would be either on the first floor or lower ground floor. However as you have not indicated which one you would prefer you have been allocated on the lower ground floor room, which has the least... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a great location. Our safe also didn't work. They came and did something but it still didn't lock so we just took our valuables with us. I was very suprised that you had to pay for WIFI. You can walk into a cafe or Macdonalds and get it for free. Every hotel... More

We had 6 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it! We arrived dripping wet, but that was no problem to the receptionist. The receptionists throughout the week were always friendly and helpful. We were offered help with our luggage on arrival and were told that breakfast would not be available, but recommended places nearby. D and C next door was fantastic-... More

If you want a prime location in Dublin, then this is a good spot. However, if you want a real hotel then go somewhere else. Trintiy Lodge has minimal service and is basically a part time reception and rooms. I was "upgraded" to a basement room across the road below a restaurant bar where the noise of scraping furniture and... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. However I would like to mention the following: -the reception is open from 7:30 am until 10pm and we operate also extended hours to facilitate late / early check-ins outside these hours. -the housekeeping staff is servicing the rooms everyday and the restaurant in the hotel provides breakfast, lunch and dinner. Therefore "serviced... More

Buzzing noise from an interior stairwell light was on and off all night. We were yelled at by the kitchen staff for taking some fruit from the buffet after we ordered a hot breakfast. Third floor walk up and not offered any help with our bags. Safe didn't work and not fixed despite asking several times to do so. Shower... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for staying at Trinity Lodge. Regarding your complaints I would like to mention the following: - the buzzing light - the lights on the staircase are activated by movement (as they are on sensors) - we had no complaints so far about the noise from them. - regarding the breakfast you had only the Full Irish... Stayed here for one night (Saturday the 14th of April). On arrival found that we were staying across road from main hotel and our side was being refurbished. Must say though that we had great size room with 2 king size beds. Well furnished and spotlessly clean. En suite shower room was of a high standard. Felt secure but no... More

Stayed for one night just before Easter, good sized family rooms and very good value for money in a nice part of Dublin City. The old buildings are tastfully decorated/restored and next to Trinity Collage and its grounds + a short walk from Grafton Street. Staff were helpful and friendly and access was easy with very reasonably priced car parking... More

Lovely staff, and the room was gorgeous!! The bed was very hard,, but after having a few drinks, we didn't notice!! Fire alarm and the receptionist banging on our door at half nine wasn't the nicest way of being woken up, but safety first, as it was a false alarm!! Would stay here again, as it is a bargain!!

The hotel was very well located, we were in the overspill hotel opposite, which was modern, clean and comfortable...no bath and electric shower in our room, but all fine. Tea making facilities minimal (v little milk, for example), but all fine. Main complInt was the breakfast in George's Restaurant attached to hotel. Nice service but cold coffee, and all breakfast... The Trinity Lodge Hotel is a nice historic hotel right in the heart of Dublin. It's on a quiet street close to everything you would want to see as a tourist. Please remember this is a historic building with no elevators. However, my room was large and quiet. Breakfast was good albeit a little confusing on the price. Just tell... More
