It’s a decent place for a 1 night stay when you keep travelling further. The room was clean but you could smell the mould. Curtains did not really cover the window and we were located on the grand floor, front side.. It’s a 25 minutes walk to the city centre, not really pleasant when super windy but there is also... No hot water at all. The bathroom which is extremely small had a bad odor. Did not see the owner/manager once after we checked in, we were told to ring the front bell to get service, this system did not work. During our one night stay other guests were having a fine old time at 3:00am very loudly and once... More

Two nights stay, 3 adults and five children. The place is filthy, cold, damp and needs a really good overhaul of all accommodation. We were so disappointed and would not have stayed the 2nd night but could not find alternative accommodation. It was so cold we had to buy hot water bottles to keep warm. Beds really uncomfortable, filthy, stained... More

We only stayed one night. The lady was really nice, pleasent & helpful. The place was very cold especially having tiles in the main foyer. my friend found hair in her bed. Comfortable beds. Not enough blankets woke up quiet cold. Breakfast was really quiet good - one of the better breakfasts we had had. Basic but good! Porraige and... More

This has got to be the worst place ever to stay in. Old and definitely in need of updating. Rust in the shower and a but dirty and grimy looking. The walls are paper thin. In the morning I could hear the staff preparing breakfast in the kitchen and I could hear the other guests chatting over their breakfast. No... More

We've stayed in B&Bs before but this one was sadly lacking. From the outside looked good, great location etc but it is in need of some TLC to bring it up to standard. The furnishings were worn and dated. The decor was lack lustre and unwelcoming. The room we had was quite large but the en-suite was tiny, a bit... More

We (two adults, 14yo and 11yo) stayed a night here during our drive around Ireland. The B & B was in a great location - enjoyed a beautiful meal in the village of Salthill at a lovely little restaurant (the name escapes me, but it has a piano and they have meal specials - great!). The beds were a little... More

This is a wonderful B & B. Not an upscale fancy hotel but a warm and friendly Irish place to spend several nights at a great price. Breakfast is included, Sharon is a local and knows where to go for dining, pubs, and almost everything else. Made our stay.

I must admit I was a bit weary about some of the reviews/comments in here, but nothing further from our experience: from the moment we arrived we were made feel very welcome. Our rooms (attic) were very nice & clean. If anything, the bathroom was on the small side, but still nice & clean. This was our first time in... More
