Myself and my husband were recently lucky enough to get married at the Galway Bay Hotel and I can't imagine having a better day anywhere else. We had both the ceremony and the reception at the hotel and it was truly a day to remember. I cannot sing the praises of the staff enough - especially for their help in... More

after staying at smaller inns in Killarney and Dingle, we found that this hotel was a bit big and impersonal; the rooms were adequate and clean; we happened to be there on a rare warm day and found the hotel is not air-conditioned, but they did have fans for us to use. We stayed two nights. The view across Dingle... More

This was stop 4 in our tour of Ireland, chosen for its beach location, it is a large modern hotel, excellent service and courteous staff. It was my birthday so we treated ourselves to dinner with our friends in their restaurant, and we were not disappointed, the food, service and staff were all excellent. Breakfast was the same, all in... More

This is a long overdue review. Last August, my family stayed at the Galway Bay Hotel for a family reunion. There were approximately 40 of us in the group. From the booking, to arrival to checkout, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff was gracious and accommodating to all of our needs from young to old. Everyone... More

We stayed for one night recently as part of a group. Upon arrival the check-in staff were so friendly and efficient, and dealt with our party of over 50 people in a very short space of time. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The staff are highly professional but at the same time... More

I have reviewed the Galway Bay Hotel before and it is still the best place to stay when visiting Galway so this time I thought I would give info on having a wedding reception here. I have been to stay for three wedding receptions at the hotel in the last three years and I am still amazed at the smoothness... More

We stayed there for just the one night. Downside was they had two large functions happening and the staff seemed preoccupied. But the room was nice and the breakfast the next day was just fantastic. Location is very good as well. We didn't get a room with a view of the bay due to our last minute booking, but hotel... More

My husband and I have spent many wonderful breaks here. We are always charmed by the warmth and efficiency of the staff. The reservation/check out staff are excellent and we often have the pleasure of being greeted on arrival by Jiri who is outstanding in his role. From then on we enjoy the ambience, the food, spa facilities and the... More

We stayed in family room, which was perfect size and very nice. Bathroom looked tired, tiles stained, stains in the corners made it look dirty. Shower was very bad, changed from cold to hot itself, impossible with the kids. Swimming pool is small but very warm and clean, don't forget your goggles, there is loads of chlorine being used, lovely... More
