The hotel is situated approximately a 30 minute walk from the town centre but is near enough to make a good base for exploring Galway town. Not the most pleasent reason for our stay visiting a close relative in the Hospise just over the road. Cant fault the hotel great value for money free parking spotlessly clean and all our special requests done without a problem. Will return.

We stayed 22 May 2013 for one night, 2 rooms and we found Flannery's Hotel to be excellent. Right from the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming and helpful. “Great staff, handy to downtown Galway”

No matter what we asked for, each staff member was courteous and responsive. 10 minutes by car from downtown.. check out Quay St ( pubs and restaurants. ) plus nearby shopping. Bus tours available to Cliffs of Moher or to Connemara a must.
