Thanks for a lovely stay myself and my wife had a great time in Galway. The hotel itself is great for motorists as it is easy to find but close to the city centre, an easy 10 minute walk. The parking is secure and lit up on a night. The room was clean and tidy and good value for what... More

We stayed in Travelodges in Ireland to be assured of lifts not narrow stairways, and a good standard of service. We were not dissapointed.

Good place, clean, decent quality and good value. The staff were polite and helpful. The Irish Breakfast they offer is not bad and included an egg, sausages, baked beans, a hash brown etc.. It’s essentially the same thing as an English breakfast. They have a bar downstairs where they serve Guinness and spirits. The location is OK but at the... More

Friendly welcoming staff at reception. Rooms were basic but clean & comfortable - nothing to complain about. We were only staying in Galway for 2 days so did not spend much time in rooms. Walked into town both days, just along the main road - 15mins max or €8 in a taxi (it was chucking it down one night)

I've been in a few over the years, and some of them are very poor. But this one was very good. It is on a main road which can add to the noise, but bring earplugs its not that much of a problem. The rooms are massive and the bed a SuperKingSize, you get a lovely big duvet and get... More

Stopped here for 2 nights during a round-Ireland biking tour....... was everything you'd expect and a bit more from a Travelodge i.e. very clean, fairly basic, good shower, cheap, decent breakfast but also came with plenty more as well. The hotel is fairly well situated, 8 euros will get you a 10 minute taxi ride into the heart of the... More

On our first visit to Galway we stayed in the Travelodge just 1km outside the city. The hotel was easy to reach on the 405 bus only a few minutes, room very clean and comfortable reception staff very helpful hope to stay again.

I recently stayed at the Travelodge Galway and had a very pleasant stay. The facilities are good and hotel basically "does everything it says on the tin". I write this review to highlight the friendly and very professional nature of the staff. I left valuable items in my room after I checked out and the staff couldn't have been more... More
