The Atmosphere in the hostel is great, altough there were some cons to our stay: A lot of noise from the bar next door. Weird smell at the room. If that doesn't matter to you - I recomment this Place.

The Sugan is a great little hostel. Location is perfect, short little walk from the station and you're there. National Park, which is the best thing about Killarney, is also in walking distance, or the hostel do cheap bike rental. I actually chose to visit Killarney upon seeing a brochure for the Sugan, and it lived up to expectations. Having coffee and tea available all day, as well as the warm and fragrant turf fire, made the unpredictable Irish weather an asset to the trip--I spent more time in the common areas playing chess or chatting with my fellow hostellers!... Great hostel, stopped in many hostels but this one has a lot of character. Guy who runs it is very friendly, Has everything you need, kitchen, cosy dining room with open fire. Breakfast is included which is good. Rooms are cosy, but clean. Would def recommend to stop here!!!
