We stumbled upon Ashville House by chance late one rainy afternoon. Nothing was a bother. We were amazed at the quality of the large room and ensuite - it was beautiful. There is off street parking available also. We took a short walk into town and upon our return retired to the spacious lounge room for a few drinks and... More

This B&B was really nice, parking was private in the rear of the B&B, and it's a ten minute walk to downtown. The proprietor wasn't overly friendly but was fine. There were jacuzzi jets in our tub that did not work, but then again, the jacuzzi wasn't advertised as a perk of the room. The complimentary breakfast hit the spot,... More

We had problems finding the house but when we did we were very pleased. It was a beautiful home and we were well received and had a very nice time. The breakfast was very good and filling. Would defnitely stay again.

We spent six very comfortable nights at Ashville House. Our room was fairly large and very clean. The breakfast choices were excellent and, in particular, my husband really enjoyed the porridge served with Bailley's Irish Cream! It's in an excellent location only a short stroll into town and fifteen minutes walk to Killarney National Park. Our host, Declan, was very... More

Ashville was a very clean stay, the rooms were methodically cleaned and cared for. The owner was very kind, helpful, and caring. The food was a wonderful home cooked Irish breakfast (The brown bread was delicious!) We felt welcomed the moment we walked in, great location with a 2 minute walk into town! Highly recommend the stay!

Excellent location w/in walking distance of downtown Killarney and very close to Muckross House and Torc Waterfall (which are both excellent too). Extremely helpful service that is very efficient. Feels a little more like a hotel than a B&B but we liked that. Breakfast was great - I loved their oats and biscuit/scone/soda bread things.

pleasant, welcoming and very helpful, the hosts made my visit a seamlessly ideal stay; booking tours, calling taxis and offering tips and advice on the locality. Lavish and tasty breakfast selection, clean and comfortable room - exactly what a guest house should be ... and more!

We loved the two days we stayed at Ashville House. Declan, the host was very helpful and was prepared to negotiate on rates during the midweek nights we stayed. The rooms were immaculate and spacious as well. The bed was wonderful - the softest doonah (duvet) under which I have ever slept. The breakfast was delightful with fresh juices, various... More

Four of us stayed in Ashville House for two nights recently. Service is very good and attentive. Breakfast was very nice. The guesthouse is very centrally located: only a few minutes walk to High Street (center of Killarney). Car park is not so big, but we didn't have a problem because not all rooms were occupied. I can see it... More
