We booked here because it was walking distance of the city. Our stay proved to be a lot more than just being able to walk to town. Greta is warm, welcoming and very helpful with advice on what to see and where to eat. Our room was large and comfortable, breakfast was good. A lovely B&B and hostess.

Stayed here for 4 nights in April 2013. The room and bathroom was clean and light with a comftable bed. Slept very well every night. The breakfast was very good and had a choice for everyones taste. You will not leave the table hungry. The B&B is located 5 minute walk from the city center of Killarney.

The husband and wife team, he cooks she smozzes and serves makes for a delight full stay. Within walking distance of a bustling small city center there is much to do heading off from this B & B. This b&b is run by mrs Greta Doyle, who answers every question you have before going there, and while being there , exactly feels what you like or not as a guest; I had a wonderful & quiet single room with view to the gardens, the place is just minutes from the city centre, rooms are cleaned every day, etc... Don't plan on eating lunch after a hearty breakfast at Algret! Very nice hostess and good twin room. Good advice on what to see and where to eat in Killarney. Short walk into town centre. Highly recommend Algret House!

Fantastic service, delicious breakfast, spotless room and public areas. All this for €50 per room. Greta is an outstanding host, she couldn't have been more helpful. We were looked after incredibly well. Highly recommended.

I felt guilty leaving this place this morning as I cannot believe it cost just €25 to stay there. It was immaculate. greta couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful and seemed to genuinely want to make sure we were well looked after. I will absolutely be staying here again, cannot recommend it highly enough.
