My wife, sister, brother in law, & I stayed at the Old Orchard Lodge after returning from Wales. We had made reservations in advance and prior to the ferry ride to Wales I contacted Kay about some luggage that we didn't have room to take with us. She said to bring it to her and she would store it until... More

Staying there for just one night (taking the ferry at Rosslare at 8.45 in the morning) my wife and I were positively suprised by the welcome and the amenities of this B&B. A bath tub, no just a shower, a heated blanket (it was very cold weather), extra heating... we immediately felt at home in this lovely B&B, expertly run... More

This is the second time I have used this B&B on my way to catch the ferry. The first time I was travelling alone and the daughter was very welcoming making me a sandwich as i didnt want to go to the local pub for food on my own. This time I was with my husband and we were welcomed... More

We were welcomed with baked goodies, coffee and tea. The room was comfortable - a bit chilly at first, but it warmed up. We had a fantastic time in the area because of the recommendations of the owner. She served a wonderful breakfast, made to order with homemade baked goods. You definitely need to try her homemade brown bread! The... More

We used this B&B as a stopping off point before catching the Rosslare ferry at 9.00 am the next morning. It is 3min drive from the ferry so excellent for this purpose. But it was so much more than that. Kay made us very welcome and provided tea and cake on arrival. The B&B as a whole was very comfortable... More

From the genuinely warm welcome on arrival with tea and scones provided to the local knowledge imparted cheerfully and the family friendly layout this was a welcoming place to stay. Would highly recommend it and the location is also superb in terms of location for the ferry.

Kay gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home from the start. We had a ferry the next day and Kay invited us to stay in the guest lounge until we had to leave for the ferry. The room was very generous and even though we needed an extra bed upon arrival, she made this possible in... More

Old Orchard Lodge was very close to Rosslare port, so getting off of the ferry and straight into your room was very convenient. Kay, who runs it was very welcoming, friendly and lovely! She had made us beautiful scones and biscuits and a cafetiere of coffee which was really appreciated after our long trip. There was a lovely lawned garden... More

Lovely friendly B&B, Kay is very welcoming and accommodating. A very short drive from the ferry. Great choice of breakfast to suit all ages and tastes and all fresh produce, freshly cooked to order. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable + internet access....nothing more that you could ask for. We stay every year on our way back to UK from Ireland.... More
