Dark, dank, empty, place. OK if you like hunting around the reception and corridors for someone to check you in... Needs a lick of paint everywhere and some higher wattage (low energy) light bulbs. Suggest to pay an extra fiver for the usual brand budget hotel.

went on a celebration deal, thank goodness. The hotel was very very tired. The furniture was dirty and stained; curtains missing in lounge; tiny pool; poor! however on positive the food was surprisingly good and one or two lovely staff - I would be depressed if I worked there though, so they do well!

Stayed with my husband and two grandchildren for 3 nights. The hotel decor is shabby and the rooms were no better. Carpets torn and wallpaper falling off in places.
