My wife and I with two other couples stayed here to celebrate a my 50th birthday. We chose The Mill for it's great location and having already dined here knew the food was very good. At the side of the Lancaster Canal, near to the coast,in lovely countryside with Lancaster just 4 miles away the location is very good. The... More

Was staying for 2 nights over the weekend to visit Leighton Moss nature reserve with the wife. Great location very peaceful and beautiful views no matter what way you look. The hotel is unique and has been restored to a very modern standard. Had our evening meal both nights of the stay. The chef has great skill and uses very good... More

Booked on strength of tripadvisor reviews. Beautiful spot, great as a cycling base. Staff very pleasant, room comfortable and unique due to the prior nature of the building; not too hot at night as many can be. Would agree that lighting in bathroom is too dim, but that is the only minor quibble. Would go back for sure.

Room stylishly decorated and spacious, lots of mirrors, 'accent' wall, comfy bed, everything you'd hope for. I felt the bathroom let it down; dim lighting, wimpy shower and scratchy towels, plus really thin (so cheap) toilet roll. Ate in the restaurant that night, plus breakfast the next morning - food OK but nothing special.

We went for a spontaneous late afternoon meal at the Mill and were very pleasantly surprised. Beautiful decor with lovely extra touches and a stunning country location only a few minutes from Lancaster centre. The food was excellent and we will definitely be back for more.

We made our booking only two hours before arriving at The Mill - hoping it would be as good as the reviews. We were not disappointed from the moment we arrived and were warmly welcomed, we had a wonderful time. The location helps as it is a situated beside the canal and is peaceful and tranquil. Our room was more... More

The Mill at Conder Green came highly recommended by a friend who lives nearby. When I initially enquired about availability for our dates the hotel was full, but the owner kindly offered to contact me if they had any cancellations. I held off booking elsewhere because of the recommendation and I'm glad I did. We stayed for two nights over... More

We did enjoy our stay, the pub is modern and well appointed. It sits in nice gardens and most windows have pleasant views. Staff are very friendly and service was good. We stayed at the weekend so they were pretty rushed. Our only complaints would be in the restaurant at the time we stayed it was quite busy so service... More

This is a hidden gem located beside the canal. There are 17 rooms and we had both room 16&17. Very spacious rooms with proper facilities. Room 16 has skylight installed as well. True sincere service and fabulous breakfast! Enjoyed the stay. It's a pity we only stayed for a night.
