Located on Doncaster’s Lakeside development, tucked away behind the Doncaster Dome the Campanile is about a 10 minute walk to Doncaster Racecourse and a similar 10 minutes in the other direction to Doncaster Rovers FC’s Keepmoat Stadium. However the town centre is a good 30/40 minute walk or about £8 in a taxi.Theres a large ASDA supermarket 5 minutes away... More

You know that it is not a good sign when the reception is actually the bar/restaurat combined. Yes this is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for but even in the lowest of low budget hotels you get electric sockets. This so called hotel offers free Wi-Fi however how would they like you to charge your laptop... More

Very cheap, 5 minutes walk to the racecourse, just don't expect any helpful staff. We were told on the desk that they didn't serve food on Saturday lunchtime (the menu in the room disagreed) and a request for coffee on Sunday morning didn't go down well. Overall, it's a bed at a very good price

I used the hotel as I was flying out from Doncaster Airport early the next morning. The welcome from Samuel on reception was fantastic. He reall does care which is very rare these days. I am a Director of a hotel in The Midlands and have travelled the worl for 14 years for a well known airline, and so I... More

The room was clean but smelt musty.I had to keep the small wall heater on all the time because it was so cold in there. There were two doors with a window between them so no privacy.I even put the do not disturb sign on outer door but the cleaner still opened the door. The food was ok and reception staff friendly.definitely... I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and its always been great value. Rooms are always clean, shower is good, the wifi is relaible (and free), parking is free and continental breakfast is perfectly good with a French influence. You're not going to get better value than this. The nearby Travelodge doesn't even supply shampoo and the... More
