Booked last minute, just wanted something very relaxing. Difficult to find, sat nav totally got us lost! Check in very fast, friendly no problems. Nice hotel, rooms and food were excellent and staff very friendly and efficient. Arrived in the dark and struggled to locate the entrance to the hotel and car park. No clear signs causing frustration and irritation. Pool was cold and lighting very poor in this area.

Lunched at this lovely local hotel yesterday and it was excellent. Great value for money even though it is slightly more expensive than your normal venue. we did have out wedding here so we are slightly biased!

This place is not to be overlooked. It's an old stately home with masses of grounds and perfect for golfers. They've just added the spa which is lovely and good value for money (spa package worth lookin at).
