We stayed at this hotel on the night of the Soccer Aid match (27th May 2012). We arrived at the hotel at about 5pm, we realised that the nearest car park was about 5 mins walk away. The cost of the car park wasn't great (£6 for 2 hours, £18 for 24 hours). We checked in very quickly and were... More

Spent one night over the weekend whilst visiting the MEN arena. The hotel was in a great location. The rooms, although small, were of an excellent standard. Breakfast was very good and the staff at the front desk were exceptionally helpful. There is also a pool with a jacquzzi. This is my second trip to the Manchester and the previous... More

The exterior of this place, with its stone pillars and historic look, belies the interior, which is ultra modern. I'm not sure if this is a good thing, ripping the heart out of an historic building, but as it goes, this is a good hotel. I didn't realise it was 5* until I looked it up just now, but it... More

A warm and friendly arrival at the hotel seemed to be a consistant theme as every contact with the staff whether reception, concierge, bar and restaurant was the same.Clean and efficient and well located this hotel quickly became my favourite in Manchester. Rooms are functional but if you are in a room facing the exhibition centre you need to keep... More

I have just returned from an overnight stay at this hotel and it was an enjoyable experience however I didn’t realise it was 5*. The good points are: We had a deluxe double room and it was spotlessly clean, well equipped and had everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable and... More

Stayed recently for one night on business. Location is good - it's very convenient for central Manchester. Check in and check out was fast and efficient. Public areas are lovely - contemporary and stylish with lots of comfortable seating area. Cool bar too. Bedrooms are a good size and are very nicely finished. They were clean and comfortable and had... More

Stayed for a couple of night recently after flying in for the Man City Man Utd game. Can't fault anything; staff were great and really helpful, breakfast was really good, rooms were lovely. Location is also great for everything in Manchester. Keep up the good work, I'll stay again for sure.

Our stay coincided with the Manchester run and as a result the hotel was very busy. I had experienced some issues prior to arrival when my emails trying to book concierge parking went unanswered. When I telephoned to seek an explanation, Central Reservations confirmed receipt of my emails but explained the reason for the lack or response was because they... More

I stayed here for one night in April while at a conference. The Manchester conference centre was ideally located across the street making this an excellent base. The hotel itself was nice, the room was clean and standard (i.e. all of these Radisson hotels seem the exact same in decor/room standards), and the staff were friendly. Overall a good quality... Couldn't fault this hotel - clean, central and pleasant atmosphere. Love the way the histroy of the hotel has been preserved too in the front of the building.
