Well positioned Hotel near the main station and shops. Everything you should expect from a Hilton run Hotel.
I stayed at this hotel when it was Mint and thought it was excellent then so I must admit to being a little uncertain about returning after it had changed hands. However, I need not have worried. The hotel is very smart and stylish and the staff are always helpful, polite and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone....

Stayed for 3 nights to enable us to watch 2 days of sport at the Ethiad Stadium.
Perfectly situated for train station and for the many local bars, shops etc.
Fantastic views of the city from the full length room windows!
Rooms are very nice with the usual Hilton brand perks. (toiletries, tea/coffee, wifi etc).
Buffet breakfast more than ample...

Double Tree is very handy for Piccadilly train station and the shops are all close by. The staff are all very helpfull and friendly and the warm cookies you recieve on arrival are delicious. Rooms aren't very big but adequate and clean. Have stayed in a lot of hotels in Manchester once but i would stay here again.
We stayed here a couple of years ago when it was called the City Inn and spent a further night here last week. The location couldn't be a lot better if you are coming by train as it's just across the road from Piccadilly Station and there's even a pedestrian bridge over the main road. The hotel is easy to...

I put the air conditioner before going to be bed it just blew warm air, even though I put it on the coolest setting. It was so warm that we were awoken early the next...

We booked a standard double room, which, though not exactly big, was well appointed and comfortable. The room bathroom was also very nicely done - a. It on the small side, but nicely...

Excellent central hotel. Complimentary upgrade to master suite was very much appreciated. Rooms OK but not amazing. Breakfast excellent. Good room service.
Changed names since my last visit but I found this hotel to be a high quality hotel in the middle of Manchester. No changes to the rooms or gym etc, just a change of name. Did not eat in the hotel apart from breakfast, car parking was just around the corner.
Stayed here overnight for a business meeting. Great hotel - faultless service and lovely spacious rooms with lots of natural light (although a bit dingy after dark with only side lighting). Very clean. Good fitness room with a variety of machines to use and televisons on most equipment (bring headphones to plug in). My only complaint would be that the...
