Although this is a very inexpensive accommodation we would not recommend staying here (and we are backpacking students). The pros: Cheap Somewhat central Free towels The cons: Red smears on wall (possible ketchup, likely blood) Useless, rude and shifty staff Bedding was OLD and itchy Shower drain was clogged and leaked a sewage smell throughout our room Hotel courtyard shared... For 40€, you can't complain about the price and is okay if you desperately need a cheap bed for one night. Not a clean place though, we had smeared food on the walls above our bed, even though it had just been 'cleaned'. A mini fridge is included but not plugged in or located near a plug, so is unusable.... More

It's quite clear when you get in: you get what you pay for. It's not a great place, but It's not the worst I've seen. The rooms are not what I'd call beautiful, but they will do for a night or two. I would define the whole experience as "average".

You get what you pay that's definite. I was lucky to find this hotel for a last minute reservation. The hotel is closed to European Parliament, it's a walkable distance or you can take the tram. The room was big and equipped with a kitchenette. The stuff were friendly. I didn't try the breakfast because I've read that it didn't... More

Where do I start! The whole place is an absolute shocker of a hotel! 1) The mattresses are such rubbish, you have no idea! 2) The drain in the shower was nearly completely blocked. 3) Room Service comprises of a french frog walking in and dumping 'towels' in the bathroom before rushing off. 4) I say 'towles' - they wern't... I stayed 3 nights there. The Hotel is 2 blocks down the bus stop (the bus that goes to the train station) and just another 1 or 2 for the tram. Excellent breakfast (buffet - good variety, fresh stuff). There is also a fridge and a small oven (kitchnete) although the cups/glasses/plates were a bit warn out and for 2,80€... More

Where to start? Upon arrival we were told that the elevator was broken & that it should be fixed within the hour. We trudged up 3 floors to check out the room, & left our bags in our car. We went out to explore & when we came back several hours later, the elevator was running, so we brought everything... More

This is a hotel that grows on you - the first impression is of a room that is extremely uncosy and lonely - but then the good location, quietness, feeling of safety and no-fuss makes you appreciate your choice. For regular Strasbourg goers, the main attractions of this hotel is the price - lower than many of the other places... More

A bit out of the way, friendly staff, extortionate wifi, ensuite is a little small but all stuff works well, kitchenette is under equipped but usable. Also a fridge in room which is awesome. Room is good size, bed is comfy. For price of a hostel, I would take this hotel any day. Long waljk to town or station, but... More

If you are not looking for something extraordinary, this might be a good solution for your short stay in Strasbourg. The main strength of this apart hotel is its location - some 5 minutes walk from the place de la Republique, in a very elegant area. The city center can be reached within 20-30 minutes walk, the central railway station... More
