Biarittz is a charming town (even during summer peak season) and The Georges is a perfectly charming place to stay. Located less then 50 metres from a lovely beach, surrounded by quaint little restaurants, bars and boutiques. Rooms are quite small but very clean and modern, and overall very good value. The owners are super helpful and friendly.

The staff here couldn't have been more helpful. They went out of their way to help not only us but other guests I observed requiring help too. Spotlessly clean, perfect location. Not the cheapest but if you can afford it, well worth it.

Hotel facilities - bar is quiet and at the reception so it's more of a foyer and not much atmosphere. Terrace is lovely but seems to be outside two rooms so not sure what the arrangement is there. This hotel was very comfortable, showers were nicely renovated and spotless, and rooms had airconditioning which worked well. Overall the location is great with a comfortable stay. We were very pleased with our short stay at the George VI. The owners are pleasant and obliging; breakfast is unremarkable but good; rooms are a bit small, but well equipped and decorated, and clean.
