Returned once again whilst competing in the Historic GP. Charming and helpful owner, clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Ideally located overlooking the main square yet not noisy. Good restaurants and bars immediately around. Thanks.

Visited Pau for 4 days and our stay at Hotel Le Bourbon was fine and what you may expect from a 2 star hotel - no frills but very clean bedroom and a simple but light and airy breakfast room and 'lounge' area
It is located on the corner of Place Clemanceau which was completely renovated a couple of years...

I had a last minute trip to Pau France and quickly booked Hôtel Le Bourbon because of location and price. I stayed two nights in Septemember 07. I left Pau for two days and came back and rechecked in. The location in Pau is great. The staff was very helpful and freindly. The room was updated and clean. The view...

Well, Pau is certainly a lovely town and we had a great time, but hotel le Bourbon, that's another story! We arrived to find the square where it's located was a construction site with hoarding all around and absolutely no where to park. ( I believe they are making underground car-parking!), we risked parking on the pavement and checked in....
