We stayed for two nights in October. Although the hotel is on the beach, that was not a factor for us at this time of the year. Our rooms were not large, but adequate and overlooked the street. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Old City. Staff was very helpful about directions and needs.

Location, kindness, cleanliness-- in every way a sweet experience. The owner and his staff were on hand for advice and a sense of old-fashioned yet youthful hospitality. I want to return to St. Malo, and part of that desire is the chance to stay again by the sea at the Hotel Beaufort.
