We've just spent two nights indulging ourselves in a 4 star hotel opposite the fabulous chenonceau chateau. The rooms, service, restaurant and ambience are all very traditional and superb quality. Expensive but worth it!

We had two wonderful nights here. The room was very nice and the bathroom large. We ate in the dining room both nights and the food was wonderful. All of the staff was pleasant and very helpful. A great base for chateau touring.

This small lovely hotel was a perfect location to arrive in the late afternoon, have an amazing dinner in the dining room (Michelin rated, expensive, but wonderful extras throughout the meal, superb food) and awake to walk across the street and down the lane to Chateau Chenonceaux! Being right on the main street of Chenonceaux, we expected it to be a little noisy. However, the village just shuts down when it gets dark and there was no traffic at all. We didn't eat at the restaurant because it was too expensive, but there are lots of little places to eat all around....everything is within a 100 metres.... More
