Rooms and beds comfortable, good en suite facilities. Breakfast on both days a shambles, no one clearing the tables, had to hunt for a knife, fork and a clean cup, eating breakfast admid other peoples remains was not pleasant.

Good value, warm welcome, clean and comfortable. Excellent Hotel to stay for enjoying this beautiful City of Reims. Also, the beds were a little softer than usual which received positive comments from the group of twenty five people I was leading on a tour.

We were with Leger Holidays and thought this Hotel was wonderful. So clean and comfortable. The room was on the ground floor as requested. After a long journey from Italy the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the Staff very helpful. I didn't like the coffee in flasks but that is being 'picky'. Would stay there anytime.

Stayed here as part of coach tour. Good standard of accommodation with comfy although told no extra pillows available ! The included dinner was ok but nothing special. Breakfast with hot options was excellent and plentiful. Would stay here again if overnight hotel required in the area. Beware though bar prices very expensive.

Other reviewers have noted the out of town location with predictable result: 1. food average 2. bar prices great for expense account types but not pensioners. Room pleasantly decorated with big comfy bed (2 pillows - yippee) small bedside shelf, 2 armchairs, long worktop, flat screen tv with CNN & BBC World, fridge with complementary bottle of water, tea/coffee making... So often when one has to stay in a hotel by a Conference or Exhibition centre, you find a rather jaded place with sullen staff but this hotel is completely the opposite and I was very pleasantly surprised to be greeted warmly by the reception staff. My room and bathroom were well cleaned and everything worked including the free Wifi.... More

Travelling with a dog isn't always easy but we were not only greeted with a warm welcome in this hotel but also shown a brilliant room with outdoor access. Tired from our journey we decided to eat in,we were stunned by the fantastic meal which was superb. Okay,so the location isn't great but we would use this as a place... More

We stayed here twice, once travelling to Italy and again when returning home. Out of the way for nearby bars & restaurants and expensive to eat & drink in hotel. Included breakfast was of a reasonable standard, though the coffee was not good, it was served from flasks. The rooms were spacious and the bed comfy. It was nice to... More

Stayed here one night on the way through France, heading towards Amsterdam. I arrived Saturday evening, very tired from the drive, and I was very pleased to sink into a comfortable bed! I was a bit hungry, and disappointed that the only dinner on offer in the restaurant was the buffet for 27€, and there are no restaurants in the... More

For one accustomed to Ibis hotels (which are cheaper of course) Mercure offers, perhaps not great luxury, but at least more than the bare minimum. The rooms are spacious, the soundproofing acceptable, the service friendly both at the reception and in the restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant is a bit chilly in the evening: whereas in the morning and... More
