A good hotel with comfortable rooms. Breakfast is pricey and there is an excellent alternative to be had by going to the cafe on the corner of the road just outside of the hotel. the price of the breakfast was the only disappointing aspect of our stay.

There was nothing "dowdy" about our room(s). Apparently, they have redecorated/remodeled a number of rooms, and we stayed in two of them. A great place to stay. We had a large comfortable room and well equiped bathroom with two basins and a separate toilet. Everything, and more, that you would expect in a 4* hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly, helpful and most courteous at all times. We would recommend it to anyone.
