This is my favorite hotel in Besancon in the last 5 years. The hotel is located not far from the old city center. The rooms are warm and comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet, free parking, free WIFI

The room, which was supposed to be a superior room was dirty, the bathroom smelt of urine and the paintwork was peeling off the walls. A pleasant Mercure hotel, across a bridge from the old town. A good room and good breakfast.

hotel was fine but tv only had one english channel despite others were added, as well laundry was only 5 day service though 6 were advertised. but overall hotel was fine and staff very good. location is good for walking downton.

As one experts with Mercures, the room was a little on the small side, but managed to include a small table and two chairs in addition to the bed. Bathroom also small, with a bath and a good shower.
