This hotel is boring, with bad food, and slightly uncaring staff in the restaurant/room service. Slightly feels like it stopped developing in the 90s. On the positive note, the wi-fi is stable and strong, rooms relatively quiet. It is a 10-minutes walk to the town center, 5 minutes to Insead. Reception staff is nice. Daily free Evian water is a... I stayed here for a week during a short course in INSEAD. Perhaps most of the guests are related to the university and therefore I was surprised that when I just arrived on Sunday (when the university was off), there was very limited menu can be chosen from the restaurant. And threfore I need to find meal outside, which was... More

Modern hotel; clean and well appointed. Furnishings and fittings are good, except for the awful plastic basin and shelving. The wifi was fair if occasionally erratic on the 4th floor. Good parking and pleasant grounds. The hotel is about 12 minutes walk from the town centre along a narrow, uninteresting road. There is a nice reception area and the bar... More

The Fontainebleau Mercure is well located in a quiet residential neighborhood, a bit out of the way yet within reach of the château and downtown area on foot. The lobby is nice, however the place shows its age as soon as you leave it. The corridors are a bit run-down. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed but the chairs have... More

Rely nice hotel not far from the centre of the town and at the end of the same street as the chateau. Breakfast is good with a nice selection but the evening meals are a bit boil in the bag with a poor selection especially if your a veggie and closed some nights. Nice friendly staff though clean rooms and... More

I stayed at this hotel while on a course at INSEAD. This was very convenient to INSEAD, (200 meters away) as well as walking distance to the main street where the restaurants and shops are. The room was clean, but basic and dated. The shower was in a bath and the height of the shower was OK, but you would... More

Great spot for a stop over whilst travelling through France. The hotel is in a great position...a little way down the road from the Chateaux, quieter than staying in the very centre of town. Friendly staff on reception and the rooms are spacious with everything you need for a good nights sleep. Very comfy beds, free Internet, tea and coffee,... More

Basic things are available, but the restaurant is rather plain despite of high pricing. Also, proximity to the center of town provides opportunities, but if you are going to have a dinner on Friday evening, take care of booking. The front desk is friendly and helpful. As it is not always easy to park in the town, free private parking... More

The rooms are tired and the restaurant is perennially uneven. Depends on the chef in residence. A great pity as it's on the doorstep of Europes's most international business school and would showcase the brand globally but the opportunity has been missed. The best thing about the hotel is the warm welcome from the front desk where the staff are... More
