This is a great option for a business trip. The quality/price ratio is excellent. I had a room with a balcony, it was just enough for me. Was very clean, the bed was comfortable, sleeping quality was very good. Not outdated as you can very often come across in Paris in 4-stars hotel category. The staff was helpful. I can't comment on a breakfast, because I preferred to have breakfast in the numerous cafes and restaurants in the neighbourhood.

They have no respect for the customer. They cancel your reservation without any respect or prior warning. When you communicate with them, they talk to you in an inappropriate and disrespectful manner. Dont waste your money n time

We stayed bergen the 15-18 December. It was supposed to be a four star hotel. It's NOT. They said on their website they provided hot drink facility in every room. Yeah, so long as you only drank Black Coffee. My husband doesn't drink coffee. They had the au lait on their bar menu but never had Milk in stock. No milk sachets for the rooms, no kettles. I was told by reception when I was raising a complaint about the rude attitude of the kitchen staff at breakfast that we couldn't have a cup of tea in our room that we had to ask reception for kettles?!! WTF and you were supposed to be psychic to "know". To ask at reception because they didn't even have information on the rooms. The hotel has a very Anti White feel about the whole place. I found it intimidating because I'm not racist and found them very racist towards us. I was lectured for taking something from the breakfast room when in fact I was adding two tea bags given to me by night reception the night before to the kitchen room because we realised we couldnt have tea in our rooms. If it's not party of the service, it shoudnt advertise drinks and warm drinks in the rooms. The fridge has a box of peanuts in it. If you had a peanut allergy-this wouldn't have gone down well. Some people cannot even be in the room with peanuts. They had M&M's and a box of peanuts in the room. It sounds petty but it isn't. The ham was off on the breakfast room for two days, I thought it was just me, but I mentioned that the ham tasted funny in passing to my husband and he said he was glad I'd said that because he had thought the same. The second day for breakfast, I legged a thick long black hair off the Brie offered in their continental selection, the hot food was covered in vegetable oil. I assume no one tests the ham? We were interrogated on our second day at breakfast. I have then the room number, they did not accept this and demanded to see our key card. Then as we were one of the two couples at the end of breakfast, the woman started deliberately banging all of the crockery she was picking up off other tables around us and it was as subtle as a brick in a window that she wanted us to leave. We left just on the end of breakfast. It's supposed to be open till 10.30am - they evidently expected people to have early breakfast but we had been late arrivals from the airport Friday and out late Saturday having walked around the Christmas markets and having dinner, so we had a late start both Saturday and Sunday. Overall, unfriendly, dismissive, acting like we owed them a favour.. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is sensitive to racist attitude. Especially racist towards white Caucasian lots of people claim does not happen but based on my experience in this non white stag at all hotel, that I disagree. I watched several Asian travellers treated much better then I'd and that is before I even complained and it was not my attitude that triggered their behaviour for an those reading this and thinking I must have done something.. I didn't.. I returned two bag packets, I had asked for some milk sachets and that was it.. According to the concierge who I had to help pour a brandy and coke on the Saturday evening! Because had hadn't been given any bar training but was responsibly for the bar!! That another English traveller had already challenged the fact that there were no tea or even Milk facilities apart from Breakfast so it clearly Was not just me?!!. The concierge himself said he had left a message with management questioning the lack of facility. Which by the way are advertised as part of their four star service. My husband said he had booked it based on reviews of cleanliness... That I would agree with regarding room hygiene but as I pointed out already, the ham was off & there was a thick black hair lying on the cheese. So ironically I avoided the soft cheese fur the remainder of the stay. It's your choice, it's 40 minutes walking distance from the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Pompidou, Musee D'orsay, LA Lafeyette shopping centre... There is a pancake shop a few doors down. Use it as a base, nothing more and have breakfast elsewhere.. You will be fine. Didn't like the attitude of the staff, think it's in need of improvement. You might think it's fantastic... Everyone has a different standard and perception of what is good quality for money. This didn't completely add up for me. 3 star?yes but 4 star? No.

Difficult review to write because, I absolutely would recommend this hotel and, if I visit Paris again would stay here BUT... We booked through booking.com, had to cancel and rebook due to train strikes and then a personal issue, so our final booking.com reservation was €598 for 3 nights, so our expectation was higher than what we exoerienced. The original booking was £474 (421€), sk I admit being slightly aggrieved at the price hike. Other guests wrote about the helpful receptiin staff. I barely had to soeak to them, but didnt find anything out of tge norm from them and in fact the receptiin WC was dirty. Our room (605) top floor was very clean which was great but very small. At a guess, I'd say 4m x4m. Fab shower room. There was robes, slippers, toiletries all as you'd expect BUT there was no tea majing facilities and only 1 small bottle of complimentary water per day. Unfortunately, the breakfast was also not up to a standard we'd expect. The hot bf consisted of only luke warm scrambled eggs, mini frankfurters and bacon. One day the bacon was so hard, I cdnt put my fork in it. The continental side was limited, yoghurts, breads, cheese (only 3 types one of which ran out) , ham, 3 basic cereals etc. The welcome at breakfast was limited to asking our room number and when I asked for the small croissant to be warmed, the response wasnt favourable. Fruit included a fruit bowl with old, wrinkly or bruised apples and browned bananas. We were disappointed for a €200 per night hotel. If we went again, we'd use Pret two doors up or the lovely cafes all around for breakfast. My review sounds a bit negative, which doesnt fully reflect the hotel which as I said, I would stay at again just not at the price we paid and not with breakfast.

If you are a light sleeper, you will not get any sleep in this hotel. The vibration of the train passing can be heard inside the room. Train starts at 6am and ends at 1am daily. Hotel amenities and cleanliness is average. Hotel staff are not helpful when asked about switching rooms.

Very good hotel, the receptionist abdel and abdelnour were both very pleasant and welcoming. I will be staying here again. Nice sized room with big opening windows. Nice view of the street. Easy to get to. Breakfast was good as well. Although the breakfast waiter kept asking me almost everyday whether I would be leaving that day. And my answer would be no. It seemed a bit strange to me. But overall a good hotel

Worst service ever! I had 4 rooms booked and hotel call me saying they had an error in their system, so they could not confirmed my bookings. They promised me I could cancel all reservation oh though the system said it was not possible due to penalty of cancellation. I asked several times, and the person Abdel promises me no cost. Almost 2 month later i see two charges on my account from the hotel. I reach out to the hotel which keep saying they have realeese the amount and I should have patience. Many calls and emails with hotel which suddenly say I cancel the rooms my self. I replied back that I only cancel because you said you no rooms had 😳 the hotel will not refund almost eur 1000,- what they promise I will never use this hotel and I cannot reccomebd it to others!

I traveled solo to Paris and am so glad I stayed at this hotel. I felt welcomed by the staff each day as I entered the lobby, loved the convenient location, enjoyed the daily breakfast, and appreciated getting a room upgrade when I checked in. My room faced the road and I enjoyed opening the window and letting the fresh air in as I got ready to head out to tour museums each day. The room was not fancy but the bed was comfortable and the room was easy to access by both the stairway and elevator. I bought a glass of wine a couple of times in the lobby but mostly I got cheese, wine, and snacks at mono prix around the corner from the hotel. The bus line was close as was the subway. A safe and convenient place to stay if you are in Paris.
