While room cleanliness was above par for small Paris hotel, front desk staff was pretty standard and did not go out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was nice and wifi worked really well.

I have stayed at the Hotel du Pre many times over the past year. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. They speak several languages including English and take the time and effort to always make you feel welcomed. The rooms are well kept and tidy. They also serve a nice continental breakfast.
The hotel is situated off Montholon...

The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to Gare de l'Est (walking distance) and metro station (in the immediate vicinity). The supermarket is just around the corner. Also typical French bistro's and restaurants nearby and the neighborhood. The room was rather very basic and small, but with not bad price performance ratio. The room was clean and enough for...

Even though it's on a not so busy street, it was kind...

Small hotel in very quiet street just off Rue Lafeyette. Easy access from the station (no: 42 bus two stops to Square Montholon) or short walk although we found the bus (using the Visite Paris card easiest).
Hotel receiption very small and staff "ok". Lounge/tv room very nice.
Breakfast room small but adequate and the breakfast was the usual buffet...
