Located on the outside of Paris (14th district), this hotel is close to a Metro station, so getting around is easy (buy 10 tickets at once for lower per ticket cost). Rooms look updated, big bed in single room, nice bathrooms. Get ice water from machine in wall near elevators. ATM 1 block away as is grocery store. Front desk... More

My son was intimidated by Paris so we chose a hotel where we knew he would be comfortable. Everyone was fluent in English and the majority of the people staying there were from Us. Lots of airline personnel so you know it's quality. Basic room- comparable to us ( interesting European shower curtains expect to get bathroom wet- they have... More

We stayed at the Marriott for 2 nights. This is a bit out of all the tourist spots, but it's home away from home on "american qualities". This is a Marriott and we were comfortable knowing the brand. We used priceline to get a fabulous rate in a place like Paris where it's expensive. Everyone spoke English and helped us... More

It was a sleek, quiet, relaxing hotel. The bed linen and bed was beautiful - best bed we have slept in overseas. The shower and water pressure was great. We did not hear a sound outside the room. More

We were really happy to see our large, comfortable room at the Marriott Rive Gauche after a 12 hour international flight from California. We took the RER from Charles De Gaulle Airport and got off at the Denfert-Rochereau station where we had an easy walk to the Marriott. The Marriott is in a fine location....a nice neighborhood and only a... More

After spending a week traveling throughout France and often staying in hotels with very small rooms, the "american qualities" of the Marriott were enjoyable. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Also had a fridge and kettle to heat water for tea or coffee. However, the decor needs updating and the shower drained slowly and could use... My husband and I stayed a total of 3 nights in this hotel in early May. The room was comfortable and we had a wonderful view of Paris from the 12th floor. It had washcloths, which aren't always available in France! The staff were friendly and always greeted us from the front desk to the maids and waiters. Breakfast was... More

Rooms are ok, but, very old and require refresh ! Service ok, some staff are good and others are just the worse kind of people you could meet.. In one instance I have asked a server called Vincent to serve me breakfast, the guy was arogant and maybe prejudice if I didn't know any better...there are always many workers in... More

It could be that my luggage was lost by American Airlines. Nothing is worse than that feeling at Charles De Gaulle when you hear "L'attention des passagers d'American Airlines est de pagination Monsieur Joshua White s'il vous plaît rapport à la lutte contre service à la clientèle." - or in other words, your luggage is still in New York and... We stayed here for 4 nights on our first trip to Paris. The hotel is not central but less than 10 mins from Denfert-Rochereau RER station (direct to CDG - although brace yourself if taking it at peak times, a rather uncomfortable journey for around 10 EUR!), and also metro line 6 stops less than 3 mins away at either...
