As a rushed last min booking we were left choice but book here. Value for £ is poor, but that's Paris for you. Felt dingy and a bit rough if I'm honest. The staff were polite enough but the whole place lacked in general. As mentioned above it is very handy for the metro but I wouldn't stay there again... More

The hotel is old and needs renovation. Rooms are small and very basic. Although the bed sheets are clean you might consider bringing your own towels. Bathroom very small and with bathtub that seemed bit dirty. Breakfast is basic: croissant, bread and butter, jam, milk and cereals, coffee. People at the reception were nice and helpful. The rooms over rue... More

Pros - Extremely close to the metro station, which makes it very close to any Paris attraction - There are some places to eat around and a supermarket (open until 22:00 and on Sundays) right across the street - Quiet neighbourhood - Helpful reception - Relatively clean rooms Cons - Breakfast of limited variety (2 small breads, 2 croissants per... This was a great hotel at a wondefully cheap price! My partner and I checked a lot of hotels for our trip around Europe, and most of them were so expensive in Paris, but the Belgrand was excellent value for money. We stayed here for 6 nights and really liked it. It has the BEST location, right next to a... More

This is THE hotel in Paris for budget travellers! Location couldn't be better, nice neighbourhood, helpful staff and comfortable rooms. There are ony two reasons why one can't say it's perfect: the shower is not fixed on the wall, which makes everythin a little more complicated, and the room is a little dark (I like to read in bed, but... The Belgrand is in a lovely part of Paris, right on the Metro Line which was awesome! A few minutes walk to Pere Lachaise and across the road from Edith Piaf Square. The view from my window was very Parisian and I loved it it. The room was basic, but comfortable, I slept well and found there was little or... More

It's an old hotel with allot of details in terms of the rooms. ( old and deteriorated ). However it was clean and good housekeeping service. the best of the hotel is the location, if you have a low budget for Paris and wan´t to do a trade off between having a cheap hotel, but expend your budget in restaurants... This is our 3rd consecitive visit to Paris & our 3rd time at the Belgrand. I cannot fault the staff, they are friendly & so helpful. It's a great location next to a metro, you literally fall out of the hotel down the steps into the station. You are a 5 minute walk from the lively Gambetta area & Pere... More

We just came back home from Paris and we stayed at Hotel Belgrand for 4 days. I was travelling with my husband and with my mother- and father-in-laws. When you book a 2-star-hotel, it´s all about your attitude; you can´t expect more than 2-star-facilities! We´ve travelled quite a lot and for us the hotel is a place to sleep and... More
