I had read the reviews here on Trip Advisor prior to booking, so knew what to expect. The hotel is a basic budget hotel very close to both Gare Du Nord and Gare De L'Est, and therefore is well served for public transport. The hotel is on a quiet side street, and so doesn't get much noise from passing traffic....

This was our first trip to Paris and we did not know what to expect. My cousin had booked us a hotel and since we were on a small budget we wanted something that was clean and close to public transportation.
And that it did for us as Hotel d'Amiens is close to Gare Du Nord and Gare Du L’est....

The hotel is close o the Gare du Nord and cheap supermarkets and take aways.Rooms are clean ,small and warm at winter .I have been there with wife for last New Year Eve .General hotel is all right but New Year Eve in Paris is so Overrated .No fireworks and any music.

We booked one night at the beginning of our trip here, then booked another night for 2 weeks time, as it was a nice and simple little place, clean, good location, good prce, god breakfast if you got up early, good airconditioning. we would stay again.

good value for money and perfect location for everyone who want to explore Paris. Close to main attractions, train stations, metro, supermarkets. Perfect for backpackers who prefer private rooms. Cheaper than hostels!
